She explains how to sign up with her company, the types of assignments available, and exactly how to get those assignments. Our company is located just north of Atlanta, GA. We were founded in 1994 by two veterans of the hospitality industry with over 50 years of experience between them. Our mission is to help companies by delivering outstanding consumer feedback systems which increase customer satisfaction, brand loyalty and sales. Mystery shopping is one piece of that consumer feedback.
Since starting our mystery shopping company with hospitality shops, we have expanded to do retail and lifestyle mystery shops. The variety of shops we offer is growing.
We have a great reputation with our shoppers and clients alike. We have timely payments and we provide extensive feedback to our shoppers both on what they did well as well as areas that need improvement. Our size allows us to be “high touch” with our shoppers so shoppers feel personally invested and valued in our company.
To sign up with our company, go to www.a-closer-look.com and click on “Become a Shopper.” Our application process requires a detailed writing sample and passing a short 10 question test. We find that this process provides the best shoppers possible for our clients. Your application may be approved immediately based on your performance in this process or may be reviewed within 1 day up to 2 weeks, depending on how many other applications are being reviewed.
We will notify you of the outcome of your application and let you know if there are shops in your area. If there are not, you will be notified of other market research opportunities. If there are assignments, you will be able to self-assign immediately. We post shops for the upcoming month the third week of the previous month. A scheduler may notify you be email and/or phone call if we have new clients, a special projects or to cover the current months shops. Otherwise, the shopper must be proactive and check during the month for available shops.
