But, if you can pick up a few quick assigments that don't pay a whole lot, but you can make a shopping route out of it, you may end up with a better profit margin. Also, don't forget that you should be writing off mileage for any shopping jobs...if you are going somewhere anyway (e.g., grocery store, mall, etc.), it can be a good idea to pick up a shop there so you can write off that mileage. I have only done 3 secret shopping assignments. I recently received one request for assignment that took me an hour to fill out the forms required just to be able to accept the assignmet. I could see the assignment would take a good hour and the paperwork required to report back at least a half to an hour. The pay was $10. After I saw that I told them I would not be able to complete an assignment with such low pay. I totally agree. I have only done 3 secret shopping assignments.
